About Mr. Chairman

Mr. Chairman is the on-air name of Sam Bradford — host of The Unlikely Network, an elected official, and acting CTO for a municipality in the St. Louis metro. He runs three shows covering local government, cybersecurity and AI governance, and first-property real estate investing.

Why “Unlikely”?

Because none of this was supposed to happen — the office, the technology career, the portfolio. “Unlikely” is a play on words: unlikely to do these things, and a candidate for any opportunity that shows up prepared. The network exists to show the work so the path is less unlikely for the next person.

What does the network cover?

Three beats, three shows. The Unlikely Candidate is live civic education: how budgets, boards, and code enforcement actually work, with primary sources on screen. The Unlikely Tech Executive covers cybersecurity and AI governance from the practitioner side. The Unlikely Real Estate Mogul documents first-property and Section 8 investing with real numbers.
